    Hello there. I'm Cindy!

    Why Shelby Studios Photography? I named the business after my beautiful daughter, Shelby. I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer who has a passion for taking photographs that capture amazing light as well as emotion. My goal is to capture a slice of life in a creative and artistic way that reflects who you are and who you love! A great photograph not only captures a moment in time visually; it makes you remember exactly how you felt when it was taken. I am graduating from Illinois Valley Central Class of 2013

Three words that best describe me are Trustworthy, Empathetic, and Procrastinator

Something that most people don’t know about me is that I like some hardcore music and have an extremely large range of taste in music

My favorite school subjects are history and sociology

In high school, I participated in Soccer, German NHS, JOII Club, and NHS

One of my best memories in high school is going to dances and homecoming week

Tiffany Blue is my favorite color

Olive Garden is my favorite restaurant. I love their salad and the five cheese ziti

TV show must: Big Bang Theory

My mom makes the best chicken quesadillas

When I’m thirsty, I reach for chocolate almond milk

Favorite Movies: Breakfast at Tiffany’s and all of the Disney Classics

My hobbies include running, baking food for others to eat, and playing piano

Summer is my favorite season because being cold is my least favorite thing and I love being able to be outside, swim, run, and just being warm in general

One of my biggest fears is having regrets or falling short

Someone that I really look up to is my mom. Because she’s very kind and considerate and I hope I can be as strong minded but still have an extremely warm and loving personality like her when I grow up

My biggest accomplishment in my life so far would have to be dealing with life’s obstacles and learning to take things in stride

My future plans include working but enjoying my last summer before college. I plan on attending Bradley then possibly going to med school to become a psychiatrist. After that hopefully getting married and honeymooning in Italy, and eventually move out to the country. Have four children and golden retriever pups and many more animals!

Ten years from now, I see myself still working towards my dream job or working. Married and maybe starting a family

Someone that I really look up to is my mother. Because of the grace and attitude she so positively demonstrates. I wish to be like her one day

My biggest accomplishment in my life so far would have to be deciding which college to go to and deciding to swim and study nursing also

My future plans include: work, work, work this summer. I will be lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at Fairview Water Park in Normal and Splashdown in East Peoria. I plan to attend Milikin University in the fall and to be very involved in student life and to be a part of the swim team

Someone that I really look up to is Marty Ogburn. He never has a negative thing to say about anyone. He has worked hard his whole life, simply because he enjoys helping people without receiving recognition for his hard work

My biggest accomplishment in my life so far would have to be just high school in general. I think I have matured a ton mentally and with the way I treated people. Hopefully it wore off on others and made a difference for someone

My future plans include going to SIUe to study criminal psychology. The hopefully find a stable job in that field and start a family

Ten years from now, I see myself in Florence, Italy owning a gelato shop and living the life!
